Mayor Marissa opens up about the 66-million-dollar budget she helps manage for the City of Lone Tree, Colorado. She shares the importance of sticking to a plan and budget and how that pathway has led Lone Tree to becoming one of the most beautiful, safe, and thriving cities in Colorado. Being responsible for something like a 66-million-dollar budget is not easy but Mayor Marissa makes it look easy. How? Her confidence in herself, in her abilities, and to not make emotional financial decisions causes her to appear effortless. And, of course, she depends on her council. No one can achieve anything great on their own, which is something Mayor Marissa takes to heart. She is an example for us all and a woman of integrity. I am honored to know her.
